AIT-EBARA International Training Course on “ Pump Technology for Industrial Waterworks: Essentials and Applications of Pump” 27 August – 2 September 2015

AIT Extension in conjunction with EBARA Hatakeyama Memorial Fund and EBARA (Thailand) Ltd. is hosting a Course on “ Pump Technology for Flood Control ” to be held on 27 August – 2 September 2015 at Ambassador Hotel, Sukhumwit 11, Bangkok, Thailand. 

This seminar is intended to inform fundamental approach to planning and design of pumping facilities. In view of more useful knowledge in practical works, applications of pumping equipment for intake and transfer pump station including operation methods and water hammer phenomena are lectured. Total number of 30 will be invited from government agencies and public sectors, consulting firms and institutions related to pump engineering. Applicants should have at least B.S. degree in Mechanical, Industrial, and Electrical, or other related fields, and should be between 28-55 years of age. Detailed training objectives and targeted participants are given in the attached flyer. 

A limited number of fellowships from EBARA Hatakeyama Memorial Fund which cover tuition fees and accommodation for foreiengner will be offered to qualified applicants from “Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam”. International/Domestic travel to and from Bangkok and per diem shall be borne by each applicant

Selection will be based on academic background, current job responsibilities and experience. Since the instruction will be in English, proven competency in English is required. Application form with supporting documents must be received by AIT Extension not later than 15 August 2015.
