Advanced Faculty Professional Development Program on: Ensuring Training Effectiveness (Batch 6): 23rd March – 10th April 2015
Education and Training Development Program of AIT Extension is currently organizing the Sixth Advanced Faculty Professional Development Program on Ensuring Training Effectiveness for Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Twenty-four (24) faculty members from different universities and HEC officials are attending the program. This 3- week program aims to upgrade the knowledge and enhance the skills of faculty members and education managers in the area of management and delivery of training programs. The program focuses on competency mapping, training design, innovative training techniques, coaching and mentoring, integration of ICT applications in training, result-based evaluation of training, as well as exposure visits to public and private universities in Bangkok and in the region.
Professional Development Program on Quality Assurance in Higher Education 23rd March – 1st April 2015
Education and Training Development Program of AIT Extension is currently organizing the Professional Development Course on Quality Assurance in Higher Education for eighteen (18)senior officials from Institutional Quality Assurance Cells (IQACs), University Grants Commission(UGC), Bangladesh. This training program aims to enhance knowledge of the participants in designing and development Quality Assurance (QA) systems and implementing QA activities for improvement of education at university level. Key learning areas cover quality assurance in Higher Education, quality mapping and project cycle management, result-based management in QA, external and internal assessment tools, strategic planning and institutional development. Exposure visits to QA projects at public and private universities are also included.
Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), in close collaboration with TWIGA AERO Ltd, an aviation Training & Consulting firm, and SPS Global Corporation, jointly organize a 5-day International Training Course on: Aviation Ground Operations Management from 13th to 17th October 2014. International Immersion Programme for Executive MBA of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India 1 – 6 June 2014
Education and Training Development Program of AIT Extension is currently organizing the International Immersion Programme for Executive MBA of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. Twenty-seven (27) Executive MBA students and 2 faculty members are attending the program. This international immersion programme provides the Executives MBA students to have opportunities to explore best practices in business sectors and industries in Thailand. The participants have a chance to visit government, companies and industries in Bangkok and provinces.
Professional Development Program on Education Planning, Budgeting and Monitoring – Batch 2 Date: 24 February – 7 March 2014
This training program aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in project planning, monitoring and evaluation as well as developing monitoring and evaluation tools. Sixteen (16) government officials from Ministry of Education and Sports, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Planning and Investment, Lao PDR are attending the program. Key learning areas cover project planning, budgeting, techniques and tools in monitoring and evaluation, KPIs, result-based management, and effective reporting mechanism. Exposure visits to schools are also integrated in the program.
Training Course on Road Safety and Traffic Management for DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF KOREA officials. 10th February – 7th March 2014
The four-week course is designed for officials from Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea. The course aims to develop clear understanding of design and plan for safer road with a view to enhancing their skills and knowledge in improving the road network through maintaining safety measures.The participants will receive information on integrating the standards of traffic control devices to cater to their needs related to road signs and marking standards.
