This one-week Customized Professional Development Course is prepared for eight (8) senior officers from Bangladesh Bank, Government of Bangladesh. The training program to be conducted at Open University Malaysia (OUM), through our implementing partner institution from 15 – 19 April 2019. Training activities are divided into input session and study visit component in Malaysia. The contents for input session is going to focus on the basic concepts, theories and the key implementation strategies for Environmental Impact Assessments, Social Impact Assessment, Strategic Environmental Audit for the MEGA PROJECTS such as Highways, Thermal Power projects, Industrial Estate etc.. The study visits will be organized to Ministry of Environment and to the Central Bank involved in environmental impact and risk assessment as well as meetings with experts in the field.
