Narumon Wangnai

Ms. Narumon has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of instructional system design, e-learning, learning technologies, human resource education, training of trainers, quality assurance in higher education, education development, project impact evaluation. She has experiences in working with International Agencies such as the World Bank, UNDP, GIZ, and Special Olympics International.Ms. Narumon has been working with clients in the following countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Timor-Leste, Thailand, United States, and Vietnam.

Consultancy Focus and Experiences

E-learning, Learning Technologies, and Instructional Design

Serve as an Instructional Designerof AIT Extension online professional development courses, e.g., Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, Train of Trainers, Management of Training Center, and Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Manage Learning Management System (LMS) for online courses.

Worked as a Consultantfor Inclusive Green Growth and Sustainable Development Unit, UNDP to design and develop a training manual encompassing the project’s promoted renewable energy technologies (RETs). This manual was expected to be a trainers’ manual for the transfer of learning to the non-technical practitioners at field level. 

Impact Evaluation

Served as Consultant, Research Manager and Evaluator of Special Olympics Young Athletes (YA) and Child Development – An Impact Evaluation of Development Skills and Community Inclusion. The 3-year project, sponsored by IKEA Foundation, has been conducted in four (4) countries Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Thailand.

Served as an Evaluator of Final Evaluation of Healthy Community Project in Thailand, Special Olympics Thailand to conduct focus group with parents, teachers, and health volunteers as well as interview Intellectual Disability students to find out results and outcomes of the Healthy Community Project. 

Training of Trainers

Served as Co-consultant of Capacity Building and Capacity Reinforcement Planfor Ministry of Energy and Mines, Lao PDR to designed and developed online training needs assessment tools as well as served as Resource Person on Training of Trainers and use of ICT in training.

Worked with Public Work and Transports Training Center (PTTI), Ministry of Public Work and Transports, Lao PDR to conduct Training Needs Assessment (TNA) for its personnel at the provincial and national levels.  Served as Coach/Mentor for Work Attachment program of PTTI staff.

Worked with Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan to manage and facilitate six (6) batches of Advanced Faculty Professional Training Program on Train the Trainers for 130 faculty members from Pakistan.

Worked with Directorate of Staff Development (DSD), Punjab as Course Director, Trainer, and Facilitation in designing, managing the programs, trained, facilitated, and mentored preparation of project works for 4 Batches of 2-week Professional Development Programs for 100 teachers.

Strategic Planning

Served as a Strategic Management Consultant of the Consultancy Project on Mid-term Review of 5-years Strategic Plan of the University of Health Science (UHS), Ministry of Health, Cambodia.

Worked with World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) as a Strategic Planning Consultant, facilitated and assisted national Animal Health Laboratories in Cambodia, China, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Thailand to develop 5 years partnership strategies with OIE and other international organization such as FAO and USAID.

Quality Assurance in Higher Education

Worked with University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh and Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoES), Cambodia in designing and organizing series of professional development programs on quality assurance in higher education.

Served as an External Assessor to review Self-Assessment Report of Department of Law, Daffodil International University under the sponsorship of UGC, Bangladesh.
