Agriculture, Resources and Environment Unit at AIT Extension in close collaboration with Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF), Republic of Indonesia is hosting a one-week tailor-made course on Development Program and Management Planning for Sustainable Marine, Coastal and Small Islands Resources in Bangkok, Thailand (7 – 12 May 2012).
The program is designed for 10 experienced senior officials from Directorate General of Marine, Coasts & Small Islands, and Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. The course aims to improve the understanding of officials in managing marine, coastal and small islands resources issues for sustainable development. Through the relevant exposure visits in Thailand the participants are expected to gain further knowledge, necessary concepts and techniques to boost their managerial skills. In addition, the program also focuses in augmenting their capabilities on program preparation, budgeting and planning.
