Course Brief: This program aims to expose participants with learning opportunity on sustainable livelihoods practices in upland and cross-border area. The program covers seminars on integrated watershed management, community participatory planning and implementation. It highlights exposure visits to development agencies and projects working on integrated watershed development, opium eradication and rehabilitation, highland agricultural development, value-added processes for highland crops and off-farm products, cross-border trade, income generation activities and community agro-forestry.
