Participants: Natural resources development planners and managers, environmental, rural development planners, forest officers, local government officers, community leaders.

Course Brief: This program is intended to enhance participants’ knowledge of appropriate policy and planning frameworks for environmental protection and natural resources conservation. It provides exposure to the organizational structure, roles and responsibilities of key government agencies as well as possible environment management initiatives and regulatory measures for sustainable environment management.

Participants visit Thai government organizations responsible for natural resources and environment policy and planning, environment quality promotion, pollution control; meet with local government officers and communities representatives to discuss and exchange experiences and management practices, community-based protected area management; visit environmental study, research and development projects; visit wastewater and international participants and local counterparts to discuss and share experiences from their respective countries.
