The course stresses intensive hands-on sessions using graphical and command-line interface to: manage and control of access to Linux resources; manage jobs and process; use shell features and scripts to automate tasks; administer/tune a Linux server system. Course contents include Linux Essentials: managing files and directories, access control to Linux resources, processing Text Files and Streams, jobs and processes, exploring and programming Shell Scripts, Linux Server Administration: installing and updating Software, configuring IP Network, Network and Application Server Services, supporting print file services and the Linux Kernel Securing Linux System.
